Tail End Capital Partners Rebrands as Agility Equity Partners

Pittsburgh, PA – August 12, 2025: Tail End Capital Partners, a Pittsburgh-based private equity investment firm, is excited to announce it is rebranding to Agility Equity Partners (“Agility Equity”), effective immediately.  The new name reflects the firm’s evolved strategy and its emphasis on flexibility, precision, and growth in partnering with sponsors to drive value in lower middle market (“LMM”) businesses.

The new name clarifies the firm’s flexible equity investment approach to sponsor-led transactions. It moves away from the industry term “tail end,” which connotes a secondary sale used to wind down an end-of-life fund. The old name did not represent Agility Equity’s focus on flexible sponsor-led equity solutions, offering a one-stop resource for independent sponsors and LMM-funded sponsors.
